Bestiality: 6 Health Risks of S*xual Intercourse With Animals

Bestiality is the practice of having sexual intercourse with animals. It is considered a taboo and an illegal act in most parts of the world. There have been a series of s*x videos online, especially on Twitter, where some women in Lagos engaged in sexual acts with dogs. It is a nasty thing to imagine, especially for those who watched the clips.

According to unconfirmed reports, these women did such acts for money, a whopping sum of ₦1.5M. It is speculated that ‘some rich men’, who may be Zoophiles (people who enjoy/desire to form sexual relationships with animals), offer to pay girls this money to sleep with their dogs. If you’ve seen the trends about Dubai Potta Porty, then you should know that this is a very real thing that ‘rich men’ do. It is unknown if it’s a requirement for money rituals or if they are genuinely Zoophiles or whatever, but it’s happening.

Some time ago, a video of a man having sex with a cow in Kubwa, Abuja, surfaced online. Bestiality is not as rare as we think. However, this doesn’t mean that many people who keep pets or rare pets have carnal knowledge of them.

The health risks of sleeping with animals are very deadly and not just for the participating individuals but for the society at large. Animals can transmit dangerous zoonotic diseases to humans, diseases caused by bacteria, parasites, fungi, and viruses.

Imagine if the Coronavirus had been contracted sexually from an ape and distributed worldwide through skin-to-skin contact. Nasty! Isn’t it? If you ever had Coronavirus at one point, you would have felt way worse than you did. Knowing that of all ways the virus could have been transmitted, it had been sexually.

The following are deadly diseases and health risks associated with sexual intercourse with animals.

1. Leptospirosis

This is a deadly disease that can be contracted when in contact with the sexual organs of dogs, cattle, pigs, horses, and sheep. Their secretions can transmit Leptospirosis to humans causing Meningitis which leads to death.

2. Echinococcosis

Echinococcosis is caused by a parasitic worm in the feces of dogs, cats, and sheep. The worms cause cysts in the lungs, liver, brain, spleen, heart, and kidneys. If not treated, this disease can be fatal.

3. Rabies

Rabies is transmitted from the saliva of cats, dogs, and horses. It is a viral infection that affects the central nervous system and is fatal if not treated immediately after exposure. For those who

4. Penile cancer

According to SCA, sex with animals is a risk factor for penile cancer and may be associated with venereal diseases. It is a grave issue for both men and women who develop this fetish to be aware of. It is better to eradicate sex with animals to prevent the contracture of many possible diseases and illnesses.

5. Risk of injury

Having sexual relations with species other than your own will lead to many problems. First of all, the size of sexual organs is mismatched. Large animals such as dogs or horses can rupture and injure the rectum or vagina during intercourse.

6. Allergic Reactions

Allergic reactions happen when the immune system tries to interpret foreign substances. The body overreacts and produces allergy symptoms. Since humans are not supposed to have sexual relations with animals in the first place, their semen and other body fluids are considered foreign. The body initiates a reaction to get rid of these foreign substances, which can lead to death.

In Nigeria, bestiality is an illegal act that is punishable by up to fourteen (14) years in prison as stipulated in Section 214 of the Criminal Code Act; Section 284 of the Penal Code Act.

Section 214 of Criminal Code Act states that any person who
(1) has carnal knowledge of any person against the order of nature; or
(2) has carnal knowledge of an animal; or
(3) permits a male person to have carnal knowledge of him or her against the order of nature; is guilty of a felony, and is liable to imprisonment for fourteen years.

Please play safe and take responsibility for yourself and the society, if not everyone, at least for those you care about.

  • In Iran, in most villages and among nomads, sex with animals is common among unmarried boys. Most parents, despite knowing about their children’s sexual relationship with animals, are not too strict in this matter, because they see this method as a low-risk method to satisfy their children’s needs and also to teach them about sex. In addition, most of the rural and nomadic men have enjoyed such a relationship in their youth. Even married men sometimes have sex with animals due to not being able to have sex with their wives, or when they lose their wives until the next marriage, or when their wives are on their periods. The frequency of sex with animals has been seen with female donkeys, male donkeys, female and male horses, mules, domestic birds, cows, goats and sheep, and in rare cases with dogs. The reason for the prevalence of sex with animals is the sexual needs of young people, especially after puberty, and the lack of other facilities to satisfy their sexual needs. While in many western countries, girls and boys experience sex before marriage, in Muslim countries such relationships are strictly prohibited and in many cases lead to murder (especially the murder of girls). Among the villagers, there is a widespread belief that sex with a female donkey has many therapeutic properties, including treating leg and back pain and curing infections caused by sexually transmitted diseases such as gonorrhea.
